Who We Are

1757 Ink is located in the Arts & Cultural District of Downtown Leesburg at The Shops on Market Street, across from the Loudoun County Government Center and just a few blocks from the center of Historic Leesburg.

Owner Eric Burns describes himself as the “white collar tattoo artist” as he doesn’t fit the predefined notions of the typical tattoo artist. 1757 Ink strives to create an approachable tattoo studio for individuals of all walks of life.

As a private tattoo studio, 1757 Ink predominantly offers tattoos by appointment only. Walk-ins may be offered on specific days, depending on artist availability.

The process

Tattoo shops & artists can be intimidating, so we try to make the process streamlined & simple. Smaller, more simplistic designs can be scheduled through email. Larger pieces require an in person consult. Exceptions can be made for individuals that are not local to the area and would have to travel. A $100 cash deposit is required to secure appointments.

Consults do not require an appointment & can be done any time during normal studio hours. We always recommend reaching out just to confirm we’ll be around before heading over - especially if you’re coming from at least 30 minutes away.

What people are saying

Eric is incredibly kind, detail oriented and goes the next level in ensuring full collaboration and communication. Moreover, Eric’s talent is apparent through his extraordinary use of color and contrast, while being light handed. Eric made me feel valued as a client and I can’t wait to continue my current project and others in the future.

The entrance is located between the florist & bicycle shop.

From the initial design to the final product, Eric once again surpassed expectations. He is an incredible artist and a great guy. His attention to detail is exceptional and I couldn’t be happier with the final product.

The Shops at Market Street does have limited customer parking available on premise, however there are additional nearby parking options.
